Macworld Expo 2011 Expanding Mobile Pavilion

· by · News

IDG World Expo announced on Monday that it plans to double the size of its Macworld Mobile Application Showcase pavilion for Macworld Expo 2011. The expanded show floor area will include space for iPhone, iPod touch and iPad developers.

Macworld Expo introduced the Mobile Application Showcase during its 2010 event with more than 100 developers, and the area on the expo floor was regularly packed beyond capacity. With the expanded show floor space planned for the 2011 expo, attendees may have an easier time getting to the booths they want to see.

Macworld Expo 2011 is scheduled for January 25 through January 29, 2011, at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Additional information about the conference and expo is available at the Macworld Expo Web site.

The mobile app area was too crowded with 20,000 attending MacWorld 2010. If more attend in 2011 and they also double the number of mobile app vendors, along with doubling the space, the mobile app area will be even more crowded. MacWorld needs to spread these tiny booths out more to accommodate all those interested.
