metaobjects Updates Booklet Printing Utility With EGOS Engine February 12th, 2004 at 2:00 PM - News by Mike Washlesky metaobject has released an update for Mac users, BookLightning 1.2. BookLightning is a utility designed for PDF based booklet printing. The update features the latest EGOS engine and improved PDF compatibility. According to metaobjects: metaobject releases version 1.2 of BookLightning, the lightweight imposition program for booklets and simple magazines Version 1.2 features support for most encrypted files using an updated EGOS engine, as well as some fixes relating to direct print and better compatibility with some PDF files. It retains the lightning fast processing times introduced with the 1.1 version. You can find more information about the BookLightning update at the metaobjects Web site. The BookLightning update is free for registered users, while the full version is available for US$49.00.
