metaobjects Updates Booklet Printing Utility With New Engine

metaobject has released an update for Mac users, BookLightning 1.1. BookLightning is a utility designed for PDF based booklet printing. The update features the latest EGOS engine and Panther enhancements. According to metaobjects:

Version 1.1 uses our newest EGOS engine to dramatically improve performance to the point where conversion is instantaneous for most files. Furthermore, the switch to EGOS for PDF generation removes some Quartz incompatibilities that had cropped up in Panther. BookLightning still allows you to easily create booklets for stapling or folding from any PDF file.
