Microsoft’s Amanda Lefebvre told Mobilized columnist Ina Fried of All Things Digital that availability of Microsoft Office on the Mac App Store is “something we’re looking at. It’s something we haven’t ruled out. We just have to see how that relates to our business.”
Microsoft recently introduced a 30-day trial version of Office for Mac, and Ms. Fried noted that last week the company brought its OneNote note-taking software to the iOS App Store. Microsoft senior director Jason Bunge told her: “You can absolutely expect Office to expand its presence across other platforms.”
