Atomic Droplet announced the immediate availability of MixTape 1.2 on Wednesday. The update for the Mac OS X-based audio track mixing application added a new Automix feature that matches beat, phrasing and tempo on the fly when mixing two song tracks.

Version 1.2 also added set in and set out point controls, added the ability to set the start point of musical phrases with a Snap button, added drag and drop support for adding new album art, added VU meters, improved scrolling performance, and more.
MixTape 1.2 is priced at US$39, or $69 for MixTape Pro, and is available for download at the Atomic Droplet Web site.
