MobileMe Offline for Maintenance Thursday Night

· by · News

Apple will be taking its MobileMe Web apps offline from 10PM through midnight pacific time on Thursday, June 17 for maintenance. The scheduled down time means subscribers will be temporarily unable to access MobileMe services through their Web browser.

Apple’s MobileMe Web site stated “Due to scheduled maintenance, MobileMe members will be unable to access MobileMe applications at me.com. Access to MobileMe will still be available on desktop applications, iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch. Normal service is expected to be restored at the end of the maintenance window.”

During the maintenance period, users won’t be able to access services such as MobileMe Mail, iDisk, Gallery, Account, Contacts, or Calendars in Safari and other Web browsers.

Apple hasn’t said what the scheduled maintenance will include.

Nope. Not a chance. Never going to happen.

It is possible that they are anticipating new iPhone buyers, people who are not upgrading, and who may also get a MobileMe account.
