New iMac, Retina MacBook Pro get Thunderbolt Update

Following the release of its Wi-Fi update for 2012 Macs on Monday, Apple rolled out EFI updates for the new iMac and 13-inch Retina Display MacBook Pro. The updates address Thunderbolt and Wi-Fi issues, along with sleep-related problems.

According to Apple's release notes, the updates also include general performance fixes. MacBook Pro owners also get fixes for HDMI display issues.

iMac EFI Update 2.0 and MacBook Pro Retina EFI Update 1.1 require OS X  10.8.1 or higher and are available via Software Update or as downloadable installers at the Apple Support website.
