New photos of Apple's unannounced iPhone 6 have surfaced only days before the company is expected to unveil the new device at a special media event, and along with the space gray and gold models we're already familiar with, they also show a silver version. If the photos are accurate, we'll still have three color choices for the next iPhone model, just as we do for the iPhone 5s.

Seeing photos showing essentially the same three color options we already have isn't big news in and of itself, but the site also has photos showing what appears to be bands in the rear shell colored to match the silver, black, or gold metal back. The photos also show a larger internal speaker, which may be an indicator that the new iPhone models will offer better audio quality for phone calls.
Reports claim the iPhone 6 will be available with 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch displays, a redesigned body that matches the iPad Air and iPad mini, longer battery life, a faster processor, and improved cameras.
Apple's special media event is set for September 9. Along with new iPhone models, Apple is expected to unveil its first wearable products for the health and fitness market. The company's wearable tech will likely integrate tightly with iOS 8's HealthKit platform and Health app. iOS 8 will be available as a free download, and will likely be available a couple days before the iPhone 6 hits store shelves.
