New at App Store: Ravensword RPG, Zombies, AirBear, Santa’s Run

The latest games at the App Store include the role-playing game Ravensword: The Fallen King, the turn-based board game Zombies, and the arcade games AirBear and Santa’s Run.

In Ravensword (US$6.99), players travel a 3D world meeting characters, undertaking quests, gathering loot, and battling orcs, trolls, ogres, and other monsters. As players gain wealth and experience, they gain the ability to purchase and wield various weapons, items, and magical runes. They can even ride horses, practice archery, and hunt animals between quests.

Zombies ($2.99) is a turn-based board game similar to the classic Daleks. Players take turns moving around a board, avoiding zombies and hoping the monsters will run into each other and burst into flames. Spells come in handy when trying to get away or banish zombies from the board.

In Santa’s Run and AirBear ($0.99 and $1.99, respectively), players try to fling presents down chimneys, taking into account distance, wind and other factors, and draw goo trampolines for AirBear to bounce toward the clouds, where he collects bamboo rings and tries to avoid bombs.
