New Google Chrome Beta Adds Extensions and More

Google released a new beta of its Chrome browser on Thursday. New features include app extensions and bookmark sync. Over 2,200 extensions are available.

A new extensions gallery has been created, organized bu most popular. most recent, top rated, and featured.

Google's Chrome browser is said to be very fast and gaining popularity, with a market share already on par with Safari. It is also free. Here is the download page. It requires an Intel Mac and Leopard or later.

Google's blog said, "For this release, we remained focused on providing a snappy, safe, and simple browsing experience on the Mac."
