New iPad Sales Expanded to 25 More Countries

Following the launch of the third generation iPad on Friday, March 16 in ten markets, Apple rolled out the multimedia tablet in an additional 25 countries today, March 23. The new iPad includes a high resolution Retina Display, better graphics performance, a 5 megapixel camera, and Apple’s new A5X processor.

The latest countries to get their hands on Apple’s new iPad include:

  • Austria
  • Belgium
  • Bulgaria
  • Czech Republic
  • Denmark
  • Finland
  • Greece
  • Hungary
  • Iceland
  • Ireland
  • Italy
  • Liechtenstein
  • Luxembourg
  • The Netherlands
  • Norway
  • Poland
  • Portugal
  • Romania
  • Slovakia
  • Slovenia
  • Spain
  • Sweden
  • Macau
  • Mexico
  • New Zealand

The Wi-Fi plus wireless data third generation iPad models support fast LTE networks, although only in limited coverage areas in the United States and Canada. Outside of those LTE coverage areas, which includes other countries around the world, wireless data access drops back to 3G.
