NewerTechnology announced Friday the release of a new product the company is calling USB Video Display Adapter. The device allows you to attach an additional display to your Mac or PC through the use of an external USB 2.0 port. The device is bus-powered, and supports DVI, as well as VGA and HDMI through included adapters. It supports resolutions up to 2048 x 1152.
USB Video Display Adapter requires drivers for both operating systems that are included.
System requirements:
Macintosh:
- Intel based Mac OS X 10.4.11 and above
Supports up to four monitors
Windows:
- 2000 SP4, XP SP2, Vista with Aero support, and 7
Supports up to six monitors

So does this mean I can run another monitor on my MacBook Pro beyond the one connected to the DVI port now? Macbook with 6 displays? I like the sound of that.
