SmileOnMyMac announced on Tuesday that Notebook, iThoughts and iType2Go now support TextExpander touch for the iPhone and iPod touch. The announcement brings the number of apps that directly support TextExpander touch up to 16.

TextExpander touch lets users type abbreviations that auto-expand into complete words and phrases. It can also synchronize snippet groups with TextExpander for Mac OS X.

A complete list of apps that include native TextExpander touch support is available at the SmileOnMyMac Web site.

TextExpander touch is priced at US$1.99 through February 14, then will return to its regular $4.99 price. Notebook costs $4.99, iThoughts is priced at $7.99, and iType2Go costs $0.99.

All of the apps are available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
