nova media announced the immediate availability of the iCON 401 wireless USB modem on Wednesday. The modem supports most wireless mobile connection speeds around the world, and also includes a built-in MicroSD card slot to it can also be used as a memory card stick.

The iCON 401 includes a fold down antenna in its USB port protector cap, a connector for an external antenna, nova mediais launch2connect configuration software, and supports upload speeds up to 5.76Mbps. It requires Mac OS X 10.4.3 or higher and is priced at €199 (about US$282.62) from the nova media Web site.
