OmniFocus 1.8 Improves Task Filtering, More

The OmniGroup announced the immediate availability of OmniFocus 1.8 on Friday. The update for the Mac OS X task and project management application improved task viewing and filtering, and added the ability to share perspectives with other OmniFocus users.

Version 1.8’s view bar offers improved task filtering, context mode lists can now include groups, projects and Inbox items, and groups and projects can be set as next actions. The update also added the ability to send Web pages to the Inbox via a Web browser bookmarklet, item alerts can be synchronized as a calendar, and synchronization is now faster and more stable.

OmniFocus 1.8 is priced at US$79.95 and is available at the OmniGroup Web site. The update is free for all OmniFocus users.
