Open Door Networks Ships Art Authority for iPad

Open Door Networks announced the immediate availability of Art Authoritty fo the iPad on Sunday. Art Authority is an app that displays thousands of classic works of art that users can browse and search.

The app includes 40,000 high resolution images of painting and sculptures, works from over 1,000 different artists, and ancient and modern art. The pieces are grouped by artistic period and by artist, and information about each work of art is available, too.

Art Authority for the iPad is priced at US$9.99 and is available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
