Oracle Says Java Fix Coming Shortly

· by · News

The Oracle Corp. released a statement saying that it will release a fix for the major Java security flaw recently discovered, according to Reuters on Saturday morning.

"A fix will be available shortly," Oracle said late Friday night. However, Oracle did not say exactly when the fix would be forthcoming, but it appears that the fix will come earlier than an planned regular update in February.

TMO covered the issue on Friday and will provide an update when more is known about Oracle's plans.
