Orange Announces iPad 3G Data Plans

Following Apple’s announcement that the iPad will be available internationally on May 28, Orange revealed its 3G wireless data plans for the multimedia tablet. The cell service provider plans to offer daily, weekly and monthly data service plans in the U.K., France, Spain and Switzerland.

The carrier’s per-day data plan will include 200MB of wireless data access, and the seven-day plan offers 1GB of data. Orange’s iPad Monthly 15 plan includes 3GB of data for the month, and the iPad Monthly 25 plan includes 10GB of data. Both monthly plans also include unlimited Wi-Fi access at Orange hotspots.

The company’s U.K. iPad 3G data plan pricing includes £2 for the daily plan, £7.50 for the weekly plan, £15 for the iPad Monthly 15 plan, and £25 for the iPad Monthly 25 plan. A 5p mer MB pay-for-what-you-use plan will also be available.

O2 and Vodafone will also offer 3G data plans for the iPad, but haven’t yet announced pricing.
