OWC Announces Bus-Powered, Quad Interface RAID

Other World Computing (OWC) announced Wednesday the

. The device comes with either two 2.5” hard drives or two OWC Mercury SSDs (with up to 2TB of capacity), supports RAID 1 (mirrored) and RAID 0 (striped), and has FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0, & eSATA ports.

OWC is offering the new drive in 14 configurations from 200GB of SSD storage to 2TB of hard drive storage. Pricing starts at US$219 for the 2.5” hard drive models and $599 for the SSD configurations. The company is also offering empty enclosures starting at $84.95.
