OWC Intros 16GB RAM Kits for 21.5 and 27-inch iMacs

Other World Computing announced the immediate availability of new memory upgrade kits for Apple's 21.5-inch and 27-inch aluminum iMac models. The kits let users install up to 16GB of RAM in their new iMacs.

The DDR3 RAM kits are available in 4GB, 8GB and 16GB versions, and are compatible with the 3.06GHz and 3.33GHz 25.1-inch iMac as well as the 3.06GHz, 3.33GHz, 2.6GHz i5 and 2.8GHz i7 27-inch iMac.

The 4GB kit is priced at US$87.99, the 8GB kit costs $475.99, and the 16GB kit costs $949.99. All are available at the MacSales Web site.
