Other World Computing (OWC) announced Thursday nine new bundles for its OWC Voyager Hard Drive Docking solution. The product line includes a docking mechanism that allows users to insert any standard 2.5" or 3.5" SATA I/II hard drive with up to 2.0TB capacity, and then connect to your Mac or PC via a quad-interface options, including FireWire 800, FireWire 400, USB 2.0, or eSATA.

The device offers hot-swappable hard drive swapping, comes with either a dual-interface configuration or quad-interface option, and features a weighted base with rubber feet to make inserting and removing hard drives easier. The company said the device is quiet, and that no cooling fan is needed. It also has a blue LED light to indicate operation, and is RoHS compliant.

You can buy the OWC Voyager Hard Drive Docking solution alone, or bundled with a hard drive. The dual-interface unit is $49.99, while the quad-interface unit is $97.99. Toss in a 500GB drive for approximately $50 more, or jump in increments up to 2.0 TB for an additional $280. When bundled with a hard drive, the price includes $200 (retail) in disk utilities.

You can find all of the bundles at OWC's Web site.

Nice, I own 2 thermaltake blacx but the blacx is USB/sata only. It’s good to finally see FW based drive “toasters” smile
