While phone calls to The Gardens Mall Apple Store location went unanswered, staff at the mall’s office confirmed that the Apple Store was closed, characterizing it as, “wet.” The Mac Observer was alerted to the closure after pro drummer Daniel East tweeted that a water main had flooded the location. There was no estimate as to when the location would reopen, but Apple is planning an iPad launch event at all its U.S. Apple Store locations on April 3rd. The inside was soaked! Computers were covered and the posters were being torn off the walls. The water leak closed neighboring stores as well.
