Palm has added another Apple alum to its roster now that Jeff Zwerner is on the company payroll. Prior to joining Palm as Senior Vice President of Brand Design, Mr. Zwerner worked with several high profile companies, including with Apple as Creative Director of Packaging.
Mr. Zwerner first worked for Apple as a Senior Art Director in 1995 and 1996, and then as Creative Director of Packaging from 2001 to 2003. He also founded the San Francisco branch of Factor Design where he worked with companies such as Apple, Coca-Cola, Gap, GE, Hewlett-Packard, L.L. Bean, Nike and the Walt Disney Company.
Jon Rubenstein is another prominent former Apple employee Palm has snagged in recent years. Mr. Rubenstein is well known for his involvement in the development and design of the iPod, his work on the Palm Pre, and now serves as Palm's CEO.
Mr. Zwerner has won many awards for his graphic design work, and no doubt will use that talent to help make Palm's products appear more enticing.
