Lava Software announced the release of PasswordVault 7.0 on Tuesday. PasswordVault automates Web site logins and helps users organize and secure their passwords, Web bookmarks and textclip libraries across multiple computers.
This utility was designed to help users import and consolidate their data. It works with all Web browsers on Windows, MacOS X and Linux. PasswordVault v7.0 adds a Web bookmark management feature, imports Web bookmarks from most browsers, adds a textclip library function (for building standardized emails), and generates various types of passwords directly in the 'Add Service' dialog.
The new version also provides users with a number of sorting methods for displayed services, and adds drag-and-drop addition of Web bookmarks and textclips.
PasswordVault Standard is priced at US$19.95, and the 5-user pack of PasswordVault Pro is US$59.00 from the Lava Web site.
