PDF2ID 2.1 Adds Target Color Profiles, More

Recosoft announced the immediate availability of PDF2ID 2.1 on Thursday. The update to the PDF document importer for Adobe InDesign added the ability to specify a target color profile when importing PDF documents along with support for documents that contain Greek and Russian text.

Version 2.1 also added the ability to set preferred font mappings for different languages, added support for Acrobat 9 security specifications, improved paragraph generation, layout recreation, graphics reconstruction and table building, improved overall stability, and more.

PDF2ID 2.1 is priced at US$299, and PDF2ID Professional 2.1 costs $399. Upgrades from versions 1 cost $159.
