PDFpen 4.5.2 Improves OCR Memory Usage, More

SmileOnMyMac announced the immediate availability of PDFpen 4.5.2 on Wednesday. The update for the PDF editing application reduced the memory requirements for OCR, or optical character recognition, documents.

The update also improved loading for encrypted PDF documents, locked drawing tools no longer display the selection when in use, a problem where unwanted borders appeared when using the Make Transparent Image feature has been fixed, CMYK images and cropped images no longer hide when saved, and more.

PDFpen 4.5.2 is priced at US$49.95. PDFpenPro 4.5.2, which adds the ability to create fillable forms and document table of contents, costs $99.95. The updates for both are free for version 4 users.
