Photoshop Camera Raw 5.4 Release Candidate Supports More Cameras

· by · Product News

Adobe released Photoshop Camera Raw 5.4 Release Candidate on Friday with support for 26 additional camera models. The release candidate has been well tested, but hasn't yet received final approval for general release.

The version 5.4 update added support for cameras and camera backs such as the Canon EOS 500D (EOS Rebel T1i), Nikon D5000, Olympus E-450 and E-620, Kodak EasyShare Z980, 18 Hasselblad camera models, and more.

Since the Camera Raw update is a Release Candidate, it should be treated as beta software, so users may find unexpected issues or bugs. Users can give Adobe feedback on the Release Candidate at the Adobe User Forum Web site.

Photoshop Camera Raw 5.4 Release Candidate is free and requires Photoshop CS4 or Photoshop Elements 6. It is available for download at the Adobe Labs Web site.
