Pixa Offers Alternative to Mac Image Management

Shiny Frog announced the immediate availability of Pixa 1.0 on Tuesday. Pixa is an image management and sharing app for the Mac that supports many popular graphic formats and can auto-tag files based on their attributes.

Pixa includes Live Folders that are watched for changes and catalogs the contents, can auto-tag images based on size and colors, supports Dropbox and Cloud App, includes a screenshot tool, and more. Supported image file formats include psd, ai, svg, jpg, png, tiff, pdf, bmp, gif, ico, icns, eps, raw, Pixelmator.

Pixa 1.0 is priced at US$24.99 and is available at Apple's Mac App Store.
