Pixelmator 1.5 Adds New Web Tools

Pixelmator announced the immediate availability of Pixelmator 1.5 on Tuesday. The update for the image editing application added several new Web-centric tools such as Save for Web, Slice, and Info Labels.

The new Save for Web feature lets users export images as JPG, PNG or GIF with control over image quality settings. Individual image slices can be saved with unique quality settings, the app includes a new Web color picker, a Trim tool, Mac OS X 10.6 support, and more.

Pixelmator 1.5 is priced at US$59 and is available at the Pixelmator Web site. The update is free for current users.
