Pogoplug Adds Printing Support

Cloud Engines announced on Tuesday that it will be adding Web-based printing support to its Pogoplug later this summer. Pogoplug is a device that currently lets users access multimedia content and other documents stored on their hard drives via the Internet.

Pogoplug printing will support all HP and Epson printers released since 2005, and support for other printer models will be added later. Users will also be able to email documents to their Pogoplug for printing, with will give iPhone, iPod touch and iPad users the ability to print without requiring additional software or hacks.

Printing support will be available to current Pogoplug owners as a free software update later this summer. The Pogoplug is priced at US$129.
