Internet darlings Pomplamoose have recorded the Angry Birds Theme, and posted it to YouTube with a terrific video. Since we love Angry Birds just as much as you do, nothing would do but that we post it. Pomplamoose is comprised of Jack Conte and Nataly Dawn, and the two have had modest success with YouTube videos such as the one below.
You can find their music on iTunes, though this Angry Birds cover isn’t there yet. You are that one single person who hasn’t yet played Angry Birds, here’s a list of all the available versions of the game (complete with TMO affiliate links for your convenience):

I suppose that means I will be the subject of an Onion story; The only iPhone user who has never played Angry Birds.
“Pamplemousse” is french for Grapefruit. I had to do a double take when I read the headline.
Yes. Yes you will.
Fortunately, I put some handy links right there in the piece to help save you from a future of Onion Ignominy.
Ugh. I’m with Sir Harry; I’ve never liked Pomplamoose - too precious and twee by far.
Nope, you’re not alone in that. I never have played it either, and I never will play such a game that seems to exalt suicide bombing.
The video wasn’t too bad, once or twice.
I don’t play computer games very often, gets in the way of my reading. However, I have been playing Slice HD on my iPad as an exercise for my hands and fingers which are starting to get arthritic.
Grapefruits! There is an app for them
Sir Harry, the developers of Angry Birds have read your post and are now working on a version specifically for you.
Instead of launching birds at the pigs, it will launch enormous pentalobe screws!!
By the way, on my recent trip to Singapore I met the world renown expert on Angry Birds - our driver said he has gotten 3 stars on every single level on every single version of Angry Birds!! He went on and on and on about how much he loved the game - I’m just glad he didn’t start playing it while driving us to the hotel!!
Thanks Sir Harry. Too bad they don’t have one for the other direction. Would have proved useful for when my wife had her breast reduction surgery.
I like Pomplamoose (and this video). I didn’t care for Angry Birds. It never seemed very satisfying to me because I couldn’t really attribute my successes to anything but luck. Sure there’s skill in picking targets, but then you have to try 50 times to hit just the right sub-pixel within those targets to trigger the right chain reactions.
On the other hand, I highly recommend Plants vs. Zombies.
