Ergonis Software announced the immediate availability of PopChar X 5.0 on Tuesday. The new version of the special character locator and insertion application for Mac OS X added a custom Favorites group for commonly used characters, along with a new hotkey for faster character lookups.
Version 5.0 also improved scrolling performance, improved application response to changes to installed fonts, improved compatibility with several applications, and more.
PopChar X 5.0 is priced at €29.99 (about US$36.94) and is available for download at the Ergonis Software Web site.
