Ergonis Software announced the immediate availability of PopChar X 5.1 on Tuesday. The update for the special character finder for Mac OS X added support for the Unicode 6.0 standard.

PopChar X 5.1 can now identify more than 23,000 characters by name, includes the ability to clear characters from the recently used characters panel, improves overall performance, improves compatibility with FileMaker Pro, and more.
