TransGaming has made Ubisoft's Prince of Persia and Shaun White Snowboarding available for the Mac through its GameTree Online digital download service. Both titles will also be available at retail outlets in boxed editions, although that hasn't happened yet.

Prince of Persia, which was released for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC last December, takes the venerable series in a new direction. Players take control of a new unnamed Prince as he makes his way across a mysterious land with help from Elika, a woman he meets after a sandstorm causes him to lose his way.

The game sells for US$49.99 and requires Mac OS X version 10.5.6, an Intel Core Duo processor, 1GB RAM, an ATI X1600 or NVIDIA 7300GT video card, and 8.01GB of hard drive space.

Shaun White Snowboarding, which was published for PC and various consoles late last year, features six mountains, each with a peak, back country, and resort. The game boasts open-world mountains that players can explore on their own, complete with a multiplayer environment in which others are doing the same. Players can also seek out secret spots and film their friends doing tricks.

The game sells for $29.99 and requires Mac OS X version 10.5.6, an Intel Core Duo processor, 1GB RAM, an ATI X1600 or NVIDIA 7300GT video card, and 7.24GB of hard drive space.
