printChannel Gains Rights To Three File Conversion Patents

Online print procurement service printChannel.com has announced that it has been granted a non-exclusive worldwide license on three ImageX patents. The patented techniques will permit them to integrate PDF to PostScript conversion into their automated printing and prepress services.

printChannel.com is obtaining rights under ImageXis three patents for use in its automated print products and services. The license provides for a royalty fee arrangement, the details of which are to remain confidential. printChannel.com is the first pure technology provider in the print e-commerce space to license ImageXis intellectual property.
