With the addition of App Studio in QuarkXPress 9.1, designers can create their own iPad magazine apps with the professional page layout application, and now Quark is hosting two boot camp events to show how convert projects into apps. The events will be in Denver and London in October.
The one-day events will show users how to build and publish their Magazine apps to Apple’s App Store, how to create content for their publications that takes advantage of the iPad’s multimedia features, and more.
The Denver event will be on October 20 from 8:30am to 5:30pm and will include media partners from The Seybold Report and CreativePro.com, along with Jay Nelson, editor and publisher of Design Tools Monthly, as a special guest speaker.
The London event will be on October 26 from 8:30am to 6pm with Macworld UK presenting Macworld App Create sessions, and hosted by Macworld UK editor-in-chier Mark Hattersley.
Quark’s Denver Boot Camp is priced at US$149 with a $99 early bird registration deal. The London event costs £199.
