QuickerTek Extends MacBook Wi-Fi Range with Whip Antenna

QuickerTek announced the immediate availability of its new 5bdi whip antenna for Apple's newest MacBook and MacBook Pro models on Tuesday. The external whip antenna attaches to the laptop's built-in AirPort Express card and offers extended wireless network range and speed.

The antenna passes through the laptop's security lock hole or ExpressCard slot, includes a removable antenna clip for your screen, supports 802.11a/b/g/n networks, and is compatible with Apple's unibody MacBook and MacBook Pro models.

The 5dbi whip antenna is priced at US$49.95 and is available at the QuickerTek Web site.
