Random House Brings 17K Titles to iBookstore

Apple officially announced Random House brought 17,000 titles to the its iBookstore on Wednesday. The announcement came from Apple CEO Steve Jobs, according to media outlets, during the company’s special medie event to unveil the second generation iPad.

Random House switched to an agency model for selling ebooks a day ahead of the media event, and the publishers titles began appearing on Apple’s iBookstore this morning ahead of the media event.
