RC Trackpad 2 Adds Lion Support

· by · Product News

m3me announced the immediate availability of RC Trackpad 2.0 on Thursday. The new version of the app that lets iOS devices work as trackpads for computers added support for the recent release of OS X 10.7, or Lion.

Version 2 added gesture support for Mission Control and Launchpad gestures, along with switching between full screen apps. It also includes the ability to map 20 different gestures to specific actions, support for custom trackpad background images, works as a media remote, includes programmable on-screen keys, and more.

RC Trackpad includes an iPhone and iPad compatible app that requires iOS 4.0 or newer, and a Mac app that requires Snow Leopard or Lion. The app also requires a Wi-Fi network.

RC Trackpad is priced at US$2.99 for the iPhone and iPod touch, and $6.99 for the iPad. Both are available for download at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store.
