· by · Product News

Eltima Software announced the immediate availability of a new version of Recover PDF Password on Thursday. The update added support for PDF 1.7, Unicode passwords, and non-english characters in passwords.

Recover PDF Password also supports documents encoded with 256-bit encryption, drag-and-drop password recovery, saving decrypted versions of PDF documents, and removing print, edit and copy restrictions. The application is intended for recovering lost passwords for protected PDF documents, not for breaking copyright protection.

Recover PDF Password is priced at US$39.95 and is available at the Eltima Software Web site.
