Robert Louis Stevenson-Inspired Adventure Game Headed to the Mac

| Games

Coladia on Wednesday announced a February 24 ship date for Destination: Treasure Island, a point-and-click adventure game that picks up four years after the end of Robert Louis Stevenson's classic novel "Treasure Island."

Set among photo-realistic environments, the game puts players in the role of Jim Hawkins, who is searching for the treasure that Long John Silver hid on Emerald Island. Silver's enemies, however, are looking for the loot too. Players must solve dozens of puzzles during their quest, using an interactive inventory system to combine objects that will help them reach the solutions.

Destination: Treasure Island will sell for US$39.90 and require Mac OS X version 10.4, a 1.6GHz Intel or G5 processor, 512MB of RAM, and 2GB of free hard drive space. A 2GHz Intel processor, 1GB of RAM, and 64MB of video RAM are recommended.
