Rockstar Games on Monday announced its first two iPhone games are headed to the App Store this fall: the music creation software Beaterator and Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars. Specifics regarding shipping dates, pricing, and system requirements were not made available.
Beaterator, which is also headed to PlayStation Portable (PSP) and the PlayStation Network at the end of Sept., features original music and a sound kit that offers thousands of loops and sounds created with entertainer Timbaland.

GTA: Chinatown Wars, which is currently available for Nintendo DS and is also coming to PSP this fall, follows the story of a young Triad named Huang Lee, who arrives at Liberty City after his father mysteriously dies. As in other GTA games, players make their way through the mean streets while searching for the truth.
