Software developer RouteBuddy Ltd. announced the release of three additional sets of road maps for 2009 on Friday, expanding their coverage from Egypt to the Caspian Sea.
The software, which provides native Mac OS X support for Garmin, TomTom, and NMEA GPS devices, allows users to manage and display their GPS data via road maps. The new maps which have been added to the RouteBuddy Store provide coverage of Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Georgia, Egypt, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, United Arab Emirates, and Saudi Arabia.
The new maps require RouteBuddy 2.3, which is a free upgrade for all existing users and retail from $34.50 while the full version of RouteBuddy retails for $99.50. RouteBuddy 2.3 requires Mac OS X 10.4 or later to install and run.
