The MacBook Air may be see a refresh next week, according to unnamed insider sources. The last time the MacBook Air line saw an update was about 10 months ago, which does make the thin laptop line ripe for a change.
Apple is apparently sticking with the 11-inch and 13-inch display form factors, according to MacGeneration's sources (English translation).
Assuming Apple is ready to update the MacBook Air line, it'll likely include faster processors, and some reports claim the Air will finally get a high resolution Retina display. Apple could choose to increase built-in storage and RAM, too, assuming the chips the company needs are available at the right price.
The MacBook Air line already ships with USB 3.0, Thunderbolt, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, and a FaceTime HD camera, so don't look for big changes there.
Apple isn't talking about what's in store for the MacBook Air line, so for now the MacGeneration report is nothing more than another rumor. That said, the MacBook Air like is due for a refresh and next week looks to be as good a time as any.
