Karelia Software announced the immediate availability of Sandvox 2.0 on Tuesday. The update for the Mac OS X-based Web site design application gained a redesigned Inspector palette, along with a revamped design chooser.
The new Inspector and design chooser that offer selective page layout adjustments, better support for modifying objects, and support for what Karelia called ” modern page features.”
Version 2.0 ships with several new site templates, additional color choices for designs, support for placing images and video containers on the same page, a new Raw HTML editor, and Karelia’s iMedia Browser. It also offers HTML5 and jQuery support, along with Disqus, IntenseDebate and Facebook Comments support.
Sandvox 2.0 is priced at US$77 and is available at the Karelia Web site. Upgrades from Sandvox 1 cost $47.00.
