Scosche announced Wednesday two new dual charges for the iPad, one for the car and one for the home, as well as a new case/stand for the device.
The chargers have two USB ports, one offering 2.1 amps for charging the iPad, and one offering 1 amp for charging other devices. While the 2.1 amp port will charge an iPad faster, the company said it is is set up so that if users mistakenly charge in normal devices to that port, they will still only draw their proper amount of charge, meaning that users can’t mistakenly damage their products.
The reVIVE II - Dual USB Car charger is priced is priced at US$24.99, and the reVIVE II - Dual USB Home wall charger is priced at $29.99. Both devices will ship later this Spring.
The kickBACK P1 iPad case is designed to fit snugly to the iPad, and it includes an adjustable flip out leg that allows users to stand the device up. It’s made of “shatterproof polycarbonate and shock resistant black rubber,” and it comes with a clear screen protector. The case will be priced at US$44.95, and ships this Summer.
