SecretBox 2 Improves Snow Leopard, iPhone Support

app4mac announced the immediate availability of SecretBox 2.0 for the Mac and iPhone on Monday. The new version of the secure information storage application improved support for Mac OS X 10.6, or Snow Leopard, and improved synchronization with the iPhone and iPod touch.

Version 2 also gained a redesigned user interface, improved overall performance, can export data to text and CSV files, improved RapidoSerial support, improved stability, and more.

The iPhone and iPod touch version of SecretBox added the ability to export databases to your Mac, improved notes management, improved security, and includes a redesigned user interface.

SecretBox 2.0 for the Mac is priced at €29 (about US$43.38), but can get a 30 percent discount through the end of October with the coupon code HALLOWEEN. SecretBox 2.0 for the iPhone and iPod touch costs US$4.99.

SecretBox for the Mac is available for download at the app4mac Web site. SecretBox for the iPhone is available at Apple's iTunes-based App Store.
