Sept 1 TMO Live Event Coverage

The Mac Observer will be offering our usual live event coverage for Apple’s special media event on Wednesday. The event is scheduled to begin at 10AM pacific time at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco.

Apple will also be hosting a live video stream for the event, although it will be available only to Mac OS X 10.6 users running Safari thanks to its reliance on the HTTP Live Streaming protocol.

Popular rumors point to new iPod touch and iPod nano announcements, US$0.99 TV show rentals, cloud-based music and video streaming, and more. Apple’s online store went down ahead of the event, adding more fule to the rumors that new products are on the way.
