Shareholders Re-elect Apple Board

Apple's board of directors were re-elected during the company's annual shareholder meeting on Wednesday. The vote means that CEO Steve Jobs will stay on as the company's top dog even though he is currently on medical leave and has limited interaction with day to day business activities.

According to MarketWatch, shareholders also chose to vote down several shareholder-sponsored resolutions. TMO will have additional coverage of the Apple's annual shareholder meeting later during the day.

Apple's stock is currently trading at US$92.20, up 1.95, (2.16%).
