Simplenote for iPhone and iPad Adds Tags, Sharing

Codality released an updated version of Simplenote for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad on Tuesday. The update for the portable text and note app added support for tagging notes for folder-like organization, along with a note sharing tool and iOS 4 support.

The update also added support for searching in notes, the ability to let other Simplenote users collaborate on notes, the ability to publish notes as Web pages, improved note sorting, interface updates, and more.

Simplenote 3.0.2 is free and available at Apple’s iTunes-based App Store. The Web-based Simplenote service is free as well.
